There are many signs of the Second Coming of Christ such as false Christ's (Matthew 24:5), famines, pestilences, earthquakes (Matthew 24:7), and increased hatred of the Jewish nation (Matthew 24:9). The stage is being set for the "great tribulation" when the Lord will pour out His wrath on the unbelieving, unrepentant world. "For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be" (Matthew 24:21). Are you born again? Are you sure? If so, the Lord has promised to "keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth" (Revelation 3:10). This is known as the "rapture" (see 1 Thess. 4:16-18). "For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ" (1 Thess. 5:9). There will be no warning signs to tell us when the rapture will occur, we are told to "watch and be sober" for the rapture of the church is imminent, it could happen at any time. If you see Christmas things in the store windows, then Thanksgiving must be near! Even so, if we see the stage being set for the fulfillment of the signs preceding the Second Coming of Christ, that means the rapture must be near, for the rapture must occur before the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints to execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. Are you one of the saints that will return to the earth with the Lord? Are you sure? If you know you are not saved, you are right now in danger of plunging into the blackness of darkness for ever, in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched, where there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Hell is real! God is holy, holy, holy. Sin must be punished. God will not bend His law for you or anybody else. For the wages of sin is death. Flee the wrath to come! The only place you can hide from the wrath of God is in His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus shed His precious blood on the cross and endured the equivilency of hell for you. He paid your sin debt once for all! Jesus said, "It is finished." The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Turn away from your sinful lifestyle and Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.
Of all the signs of the Second Coming of Christ, there is one that is being fulfilled right before our very eyes, and most people are blind to it. It is the apostasy of Christendom. God's Word says that the day of our Lord's coming in glory will not come "except there come a falling away first" (2 Thessalonians 2:3). The "falling away" speaks of churches and Christians giving up the faith they once held and sliding away into a state of unbelief to embrace doctrines contrary to the established truth, even denying "the faith which was once delivered unto the saints" (Jude 3).

I grew up going to a Lutheran church, they teach the false gospel of "baptismal regeneration" teaching that water baptism is what makes a person a Christian. There may be some true believers in Christ within the Lutheran church, as with any church, but the official doctrine of salvation taught by the Lutheran church is a false gospel that is deceiving multitudes of people and leading them to eternal damnation.
